The goal of this website is to create another means of communication for students seeking information about their past, present and future golf lessons with me. Students need to be reminded of their golf instruction tips and I have created a way to do this by using the world wide web. When students visit the website, they will enter their username and password in order to access their golf instruction notes, view their golf swing videos and review their recommended drills and instruction. At anytime, students may email questions to me.
The goal of the website is to store videos and written notes for each of my students to access at any time from this website. The site is intended to educate, motivate and entertain students and other website visitors.
The game of golf is a sport in which the greatest golfing athletes constantly strive for perfection and knowingly, rarely achieve it. Teaching the fundamentals of the game and healthy pre shot swing thoughts, however, is the most important part of educating students of the game.
Grip, stance and posture are vital parts of the address position that I must teach, before anything else. Once a player has learned these positions, I let the student experiment with his or her own athletic swing potential. I inspire the student with technical advice and professionally demonstrate the way a golf swing should look.
The moment of impact is the most important part of a student's enjoyment of golf. I teach every player how to hit with power, yet reserve enough energy for control. Once a player has learned how to hit the ball well and enjoy the challenge, I teach finesse around the green and thus on how to score against par.
Every student should be told that in order to really enjoy the challenges of the game of golf, they must dedicate many hours to practicing. In order to be successful, students must remain optimistic in their quest to perfect their golf games and should set periodical, reachable goals. Above all, golfers must be taught to enjoy golf's challenges and always play the game with the highest level of honesty and integrity.
The game of golf should be taught exclusively by qualified PGA golf professionals. It should be taught in a simple, non-complicating manner to individuals who are looking forward to a lifetime of enjoyment. Instructors should be friendly, educated and very patient. Students of the game should be told in advance that they are not learning rocket science, but rather a fun challenge that requires athletic skill, dedication to practice and an understanding that hard work pays off!
